WHAT ARE LUMINEERS®?

Lumineers® are a type of dental veneer that is designed to cover the front surface of your teeth to improve the appearance. This is to change the color, shape, size, or length of the tooth.

REASONS FOR LUMINEERS®:

  • Close the gap between teeth

  • Fix chipped or broken teeth

  • Fix discoloration of teeth

  • Fix irregular, misaligned, or uneven teeth

  • Fix worn down teeths

PROCESS OF LUMINEERS®:

Diagnosis and treatment are planned first with the result you are trying to achieve. Your teeth will be examined to ensure if Lumineers® are appropriate for your situation. X-rays may also be taken to get accurate impressions of your mouth and teeth. After this, your tooth will be reshaped for the veneer to be added to the surface of your tooth. An anesthetic may be used to numb the area surrounding the tooth for comfortability. With the reshaped tooth, an impression will be made and used to model and create the veneer. The veneer will then be permanently cemented onto your tooth with adjustments made for comfortability and longevity.
